 ang Zhigang (1959, Kunming) graduated from the PLA Institute of Fine Arts in 1989, before that he once entered advanced studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Many years of military service kept his early art works closely related to the Chinese army. In 2005, Tang Zhigang established a studio in Beijing. The content of his art began to change, focusing more on anxieties about mankind, society and the living environment.
He now teaches oil painting at the Yunnan Institue of Fine Arts. |
